How it works

Getting family and friends to contribute towards your honeymoon couldn't be easier!

Step 1 Complete the short registration form – this creates your personal profile page, which your friends and family will be able to view. You can keep an eye on your account and make changes any time you wish.

Step 2 Sign in and pick your perfect honeymoon hotel from our luxury collection, this will then be added to your account.

Step 3 Invite your friends and family to contribute. It's easy with our "Manage your Invites" tool. Just type in your friends' email addresses, along with a personal message and click "send".

All contributions made to your account will be sent as a cheque, shortly after your chosen cut-off date.

How much does the service cost? It does not cost you anything and we do not charge your friends and family anything if they pay using a debit card. If they choose to pay by credit card we must pass on a 2.5% fee which is imposed by the credit card companies.

How do we open an account? It's really simple, just click on "register" and fill in the short form. You can make changes or update your information any time.

Can we upload our photo or message? Ofcourse yes, once you sign in you will get your own personal area where you can manage your invitees, send them emails and create your Personal Page which will be available to public viewing.

Currently, you can only upload images upto 150 kb in file size and 160px × 200px (w × h) in image size. If you need any assistance with your profile image, please feel free to email a jpeg photo and we will process it for you.

How do I book a hotel? Firstly, make sure you are signed in so that we know to assign your hotel booking to your honeymoon account. Browse our site and choose the luxury hotel of your choice, select a room and click "book" - our site is 100% secure. You will be asked to provide credit card details in order to guarantee the booking for our regular rates, but you will not need to pay until you check-out - this will give plenty of time for your friends and family to contribute. If you prefer you can choose a discounted pre-pay rate (look out for the "Great Rate" symbol) these rates will be charged in full at the time of booking. Please take note of the cancellation policy just in case you need to change the reservation.

How do our friends and family contribute? We make it really easy for you to invite them to contribute by email. Once they have received your invitation, they will then follow a link which will take them to our website. They can find your specific honeymoon page by entering either the Bride or Groom's name in the search facility.

They will then see your profile page containing your personal message and photo. On the page there is a set of simple instructions to follow, which will enable friends and family to contribute towards your funds using their credit or debit card details – they will also be able to leave a personal message.

Where does the money go? The money that is contributed goes into your honeymoon account. Everytime someone makes a contribution, you will receive an email reminder with their personal message. From your profile page you will be able to see how much has been collected and who has contributed. Shortly after your cut-off date we will send the money to you by registered post or courier. Don't forget you can also top-up your account yourself.

How do I pay for our hotel? When you make your booking we will ask for your credit card details, in order to guarantee the reservation - but you do not need to pay the hotel until you check-out at the end of your cut-off date.

What if we need to cancel or postpone our honeymoon? Simply call us to let us know what changes you need to make. If you need to cancel your booking, just go online and click on our "view/cancel" button. Please make sure you have checked the cancellation policy - you will find this on your confirmation email.
