New York Landmarks & Attractions
Having featured in countless films and television programmes, the landmarks of New York are instantly recognisable to any visitor and appear all the more spectacular when seen up close. With so much on offer, the best way to get about is also the most traditional – the NYC yellow cab. Those wanting a more exciting vantage point will also want to take a helicopter tour around the city which offers breathtaking views of the famous marquee attractions.

There's an abundance of impressive landmarks in New York, such as the iconic Statue of Liberty and the Chrysler Building. Other attractions include the awe-inspiring United Nations Building, famous Times Square and the bustling Grand Central Terminal. Particularly unmissable is Central Park, a vast expanse of green, open space which provides welcome relief to the city’s hustle and bustle.

New York Culture
New York features an outstanding array of iconic attractions, landmarks and entertainment hotspots. In many ways the city is an attraction in its own right; the sheer range of the city’s cultural destinations have made New York one of the best-loved cities in the world. The most famous are centred in and around Manhattan and include the Statue of Liberty and Central Park but there is so much more to discover in ‘the city that never sleeps’.

Where to shop
New York is home to some of the world’s best shopping, with a retail scene spilling over with famous designer stores along Madison Avenue and Fifth Avenue. As a world capital for shopping, New York offers anything the visitor might desire: from the latest fashions and beautiful jewellery to luxurious beauty products and striking art and antiques.

New Yorkers are a fashionable bunch, and with such discerning customers on their doorstep the city’s boutiques are well-prepared, for visitors in search of luxury and sophistication. Designer stores abound, featuring labels such as Georgio Armani, Jil Sander and New York’s own Ralph Lauren.

Most of the famous designer stores are centred around Madison Avenue, between 58th and 75th, and on Fifth Avenue. Alongside designer stores you will find luxurious department stores such as Saks Fifth Avenue , Bergdorf Goodman, Bloomingdale’s and Macy’s.

Fifth Avenue, between 51st and 57th, dazzles with gorgeous jewellery from world-famous names like Bulgari and Tiffany and Co. which will amaze you with their splendour. If all the shopping takes its toll on your feet, visit Eneslowon Broadway for some comfortable and stylish footwear.

Where to eat and drink
New Yorkers take their food seriously and the city’s 18,000 restaurants make sure visitors and neighbours alike are well catered for. With more different types of cusine than any other city in the world, the choice of where to dine is staggering.
