In May 2004, the Park Hyatt unveiled Kara, a new intimate spa haven distinguishing itself amongst its peers. A very intimate space designed for the private use of a few guests at a time, calm and relaxation features in three spacious, individually appointed state-of-the-art spa villas, each with its own meditative garden for complete privacy and tranquillity.

The villas all have a Kohler Infinity SOK tub, a relaxation lounge area with flat-screen television monitor and is well equipped for couple’s treatments, which are ritualistic, therapeutic and based on increased human contact, highly unique and customised for each guest by focussing on their feelings, goals and wishes.

Room Options

Recently renovated, all guestrooms feature a decor rich in wood and marble with luxurious over-sized bathrooms with separate walk-in shower and tub, as well as each guestroom having private terrace affording panoramic views of Beverly Hills. Every modern amenity is provided as well as an array of thoughtful extras such as individual climate controls, goose down and non-allergenic pillows, 300 thread-count Fili d'oro duvets and linen, plush terry robes and slippers.  The business traveller is also well equipped with large work desks, high-speed internet access, in-room fax machines and three telephones with dual-line and speaker facility in each room. Deluxe rooms measure 406 square feet and are available with king bed or two queen beds.  Connecting rooms are available. The Park Suites measure 540 square feet and are two spacious rooms, bedroom and living room, separated by double French doors. Executive Suites are finely appointed and feature living room with a separate dining area and fully equipped executive desk and the double French doors open through to the bedroom with king bed and bathroom with glass enclosed granite shower, separate tub and double vanity sinks.  Each executive suite measures 755 square feet and include a private balcony or sun deck. The Luxury Suites measure 1,325 square feet and are richly designed with the living room and separate dining room perfect for entertaining.  The bedroom is available with either king bed or two queen beds and has a large walk-in closet.  The suite also features a wet bar and powder room, with the lavish master bathroom featuring double vanity sinks, multiple headed glass enclosed shower, large soaking tub, water closet and bidet.
