The Spa

The luxurious Spa, which is managed by Banyan Tree, features a variety of treatments including the traditional Javanese Mandi Lulur, aromatherapy, Ayurveda, manicures and pedicures. The Hair Cream Bath consists of a pampering hair and scalp treatment. Warm oil is massaged into the scalp to improve dry skin. Boosting circulation brings fresh nutrients to the scalp and increases hair growth. A moisturising emulsion is put through the hair, which is then wrapped in a hot towel. This allows the hair to absorb the cream as a therapist massages the guest’s neck, shoulders and arms. The Spa also has saunas, private massage rooms and a gymnasium.

Things to do in Bali

The culture and tradition of Bali is reflected in its numerous festivals, temples and palaces. Kintamani village offers views of Batur Volcano. Besakih Temple is located about two hours from the resort and Tanah Lot Temple is 45 minutes by car. Petitenget Temple is also within easy reach. There are several villages that specialise in beautiful handicrafts. Stone carvings at Batubulan, wood carvings at Celuk and silver and gold jewellery in Mas, offer plenty of options for shopping enthusiasts. Ubud, in the centre of Bali, is known for its paintings and Sukawati has unique arts and crafts. Complimentary shuttle service for nearby shopping in Kuta town is provided.
