The resort has two large swimming pools heated in winter, a gymnasium, boutique and a library with a selection of music and DVDs. The impressive city palace in Udaipur, surrounded by crenellated walls and towering over Lake Pichola, is the largest in Rajasthan. Founded in 1567, this attraction comprises four major and several minor palaces. Other popular attractions in the region include the Crystal Gallery, Jag Mandir island, Sahelion Ki Bari gardens and Jagdish Temple. Also known as the Monsoon Palace, the Sajjan Garh is located atop a hill and dominates the city’s skyline. It is a perfect place from which to view the sunset. Udaipur’s colourful bazaars, filled with local crafts, jewellery, fabric and pottery, are perfect for bargain hunting.

Udaipur is 1hr and 40 mins by air from Delhi and Mumbai, and 45 mins from Jaipur. The region is also accessible by train and road from India’s main cities. Indira Gandhi International airport in Delhi is about 14hrs from the resort by road.
