The culture and tradition of Bali is reflected in its numerous festivals, temples and palaces. Kintamani village offers views of Batur Volcano. Besakih Temple is located about two hours from the resort and Tanah Lot Temple is 45 minutes by car. Petitenget Temple is also within easy reach. There are several villages that specialise in beautiful handicrafts. Stone carvings at Batubulan, wood carvings at Celuk and silver and gold jewellery in Mas, offer plenty of options for shopping enthusiasts.
