New bigger and better format for Meetings & Incentive Forums in 2008
Great Hotels Organisation (GHO; http://www.ghorg.com) is delighted to announce a new bigger and better format for its popular Meeting & Incentive (M&I) Forums (http://www.mi-forums.com) for 2008.
The biggest change is that there will be just two European events held during 2008, compared to the four events per year that have commonly been staged since the introduction of M&I Forums in 2006. These two events, however, will each be double in length and size compared to those staged previously, generating an even greater return on investment for all those taking part.
The events in 2008 will be staged in Tenerife (14-17th May) and Geneva (17-20th October) and will involve up to 160 suppliers including hotels, hotel groups, conference centres, DMC’s, tourist boards and convention bureaus. To maximise opportunities, suppliers will attend for all four days, while the 320 pre-qualified UK and European buyers will attend in two groups, with each attending for two of the total four days.
Maintaining the forums’ innovative 20-minute, pre-scheduled private appointment format, this change will enable even greater productivity for all concerned. Suppliers are guaranteed at least 50 meetings during each four-day event, while each buyer group will also benefit from being able to pre-select meetings from an even greater choice of hotels, venues and destinations.
Designed to focus on business, the events also aim to be fun and all M&I Forums include specific networking activities and a full social programme so that more contacts can be made and relationships cemented. The networking activities not only encourage interaction, they also give the buyers an opportunity to discover the host destination.
