Great Hotels of the World member announces reopening of championship golf course in Tenerife
Great Hotels of the World member, Hotel Las Madrigueras Golf Resort and Spa (http://www.ghotw.com/las-madrigueras) in Playa de Las Americas, Tenerife, Spain has announced the re-opening of its championship golf course “Golf Las Americas” following two months of improvement work.
Designed by John Jacobs, the Golf Las Americas course has undergone improvements to all the fairways and greens, especially the first, eighth and tenth greens which were increased in size. The golf course, which is located on the hotel grounds boasts a beautiful location with lakes, streams and waterfalls and offers a range of benefits including discounted green fees, free buggies and guaranteed tee-off times.
The hotel itself has also undergone minor internal and external renovations. The three story, colonial-style complex which offers panoramic views over the golf course, has improved its bedrooms, furniture and external fixtures and fittings to enhance the overall luxury look and feel of the resort.
