Great Hotels of the World Member Hosts Annual Music Festival
Great Hotels of the World (GHOTW: www.ghotw.com member, Hotel Al Bustan in Beirut, Lebanon will be hosting the 17th edition of its annual International Festival of Music and the Arts - ‘Prima La musica’ next month with “Italy” being this year’s theme.
Presented over a five week period from 17 February – 21 March 2010, the festival has successfully revived the cultural life of a country re-emerging after 17 years of war. The Festival presents over 25 performances of classical music including opera, symphony concerts, chamber concerts, solos, choral concerts and dance theatre. Hosted at the hotel’s Emile Bustani Auditorium and at the Crystal Garden Conservatory, past and present renowned performers include The English Shakespeare Company, The Choir of Christchurch Cathedral Oxford, The Vienna Boys Choir, The Netherlands Concert Choir, The Helikon Opera of Moscow and many more.
