Located on the northern coast of the island in the small traditional village of Panormon, 55km from Heraklion airport, this brand new 5-star deluxe resort opens its doors on 19 June 2009.

With its own private bay, the resort’s simple and clean architectural lines featuring numerous waterfalls, streams and private swimming pools combine with colourful gardens to create a unique sense of luxury and simplicity.

Each of the 190 rooms, suites and villas are designed to reflect the resort’s colourful charm and tranquillity yet retain the traditional character and architecture of Crete. All water front rooms offer a private pool or Jacuzzi and all rooms offer an air-massage bath tub, breathtaking sea views, modern comforts and state of the art equipment.

The 1,500 sqm Pure Senses Spa & Fitness Center is spread over two floors and offers seven private treatment rooms including rooms for couples, a complete menu of treatments including black sand body scrub and exotic Ceylon massage, a relaxation salon, indoor heated pool, sauna, steam bath and fitness centre.

The resort also offers extensive meeting and banqueting facilities including a main meeting room with space for up to 600 delegates, four break-out rooms and a spacious outdoor area.

Special Hotels of the World

Hotel Bloom!, Brussels, Belgium

Special Hotels of the World (http://www.shotw.com), representing some of the world’s finest independent hotels, is delighted to announce Hotel Bloom! in Brussels, Belgium as one of its newest members.

This refreshing and modern hotel combines contemporary art with comfortable trendy accommodation. It is ideally located in the centre of Brussels, just three km from the Thalys and Eurostar Station and 12 km from Brussels International Airport.

Each of the hotel’s 305 bright and spacious rooms and suites feature unique frescos designed and painted by young European artists from a selection of art schools and universities, providing a fashionable and stimulating environment for guests.
