Great Hotels Organisation Expands Sales Team Great Hotels Organisation (GHO: www.ghorg.com) , a London-based luxury sales and marketing alliance has announced two new appointments within its sales team.
Ms Lyn McBain has been appointed as global director of sales and marketing. Based at the company’s headquarters in London, the position will see Lyn take overall responsibility of GHO’s global expansion strategy and demand generation for GHO’s member hotels. Other responsibilities will include setting and delivering strategies to maximise bookings for all member hotels through various markets and taking full control of the sales team. Lyn’s extensive experience and in-depth knowledge of the international luxury hotel industry will help strengthen GHO’s brands.
Lyn joins GHO with over 20 years experience with independent and chain hotels, encompassing several senior sales positions. These include over two years as group director of sales for City Inn Group and six years at Intercontinental Hotels Group where Lyn held various key sales roles including her latest role as director of sales development for London. Lyn was also director of sales and revenue UK at Choice Hotels Europe and has held various director of sales positions in independent hotels in the luxury market.
On her new appointment, Lyn comments “I am very excited to become part of such a diverse and growing company especially at such an exciting time with the launch of the new Metro Hotels brand. I look forward to setting and implementing strategies to successfully increase revenue and generate business for all our members.”
Joining Lyn at the London office is Ms Jeshly Sierra, recently appointed as director of sales. This role will see Jeshly primarily focusing on corporate and leisure sales demand for GHO.
Jeshly’s international hotel industry experience spans over 15 years with a background in MICE, corporate, consortia and leisure sales. Jeshly’s previous roles include a managerial role at Sheraton on the Park, Sydney and five years at Accor’s Asia Pacific and UK offices, where she was responsible for managing key national and international accounts.
Before joining GHO, Jeshly served as global sales director UK & Europe at Morgans Hotel Group where she was responsible for managing new business development growth and consortia relationships.
