The Landmark London opens new restaurant
Great Hotels of the World member, The Landmark London, will launch its “twotwentytwo” restaurant and bar next month following a million pound renovation. Executive Chef, Gary Klaner, has created a diverse modern-European menu to reflect the chic style of twotwentytwo. Menu items will include: Shellfish risotto with crab, prawns, mussels and squid; Open tart of white mushrooms and goats cheese, home-dried tomato and rocket; and Pan-fried fillet of sea bass with dressed fennel and watercress and orange salad.

Lakeside Hotel, England introduces "Aveda Green Science"
Lakeside Hotel has recently introduced Aveda Green Science treatments and products to its spa range. The hotel, which is a member of Special Hotels of the World, is the only Aveda destination Spa in England. Aveda products offer high performance botanically-based products with natural and ethically sourced ingredients. Tivoli Marina Vilamoura, Portugal completes renovations
Great Hotels of the World member, Tivoli Marina Vilamoura in The Algarve has recently completed a series of renovations in their restaurants, bars and rooms. The renovations, which started in December 2008, include Peppers Steakhouse (formerly Sirius Restaurant), an American style restaurant and The Canela Bar (formerly Castor), a modern yet elegant bar with panoramic views of the marina. These developments are the final phase of a number of other renovations throughout 2007 and 2008 which include the complete remodeling of the main entrance, lobby and reception, renovations of five floors of rooms and the opening of the new Angsana Spa

Iberostar Grand Hotel Anthelia, Tenerife opens Thai Suites
Great Hotels of the World member, Iberostar Grand Hotel Anthelia has recently opened three Thai suites as part of its Thai Zen SPAce and thermal wellness centre. Based upon traditional Asian techniques, the Thai suites are the first of their kind in Spain. Three suites of almost 100m2 each are equipped with a jacuzzi, cromotherapy lighting, relaxing area, Chinese beds, treatment zone, separate shower and private changing room. The Thai suites exclusive menu offers a selection of massages, scrubs, wraps and facials. Massages start from £107 and include refreshments, feet flower bath and aromatherapy Jacuzzi.

Monsignor della Casa Country Resort, Italy opens two new massage rooms

Hotel Oreanda expands spa treatment list
Special Hotels of the World member, Hotel Oreanda in Yalta has expanded its menu of spa treatments to include stripfit sessions, Spanish face massage and Japanese massage. Stripfit sessions are personal training sessions based on burlesque dancing, a fun way to learn dance techniques and keep fit. Sessions start from £7 per hour. The Spanish face massage is a high-quality massage with strong lifting and anti-stress properties. Spanish massages start from £35. The traditional Japanese massages are based on meditation techniques and recuperates and energizes both body and soul. Japanese massages start from £33.
