Great Hotels Organisation Announces the Meetings & Incentive Travel Collection Directory 2009

Great Hotels Organisation (GHO: http://www.ghorg.com/) officially launches the 2009 Meetings & Incentive Travel Collection Directory at World Travel Market.

The latest edition of the Meetings & Incentive Travel Collection directory includes over 120 of the world’s finest hotels, all offering impeccable meeting and incentive services, a wide range of facilities, world-class dining and professional staff.

This directory is distributed to international MICE buyers who use it as a tool to search for the ideal venue for their next event.  They can find useful information on each of GHO’s member hotels - from detailed meeting room capacities to local attractions and inspiring suggestions for team-building exercises. The directory also lists tourist board contacts, distance from airports and climate charts.

Each member hotel part of the collection can be searched by location, facility or meeting room capacity. The directory also features a meeting facilities overview where all hotel facilities are set out in an easy-to-read format.

The Meeting & Incentive Travel Collection can be browsed on the Great Hotels of the World and Special Hotels of the World recently re-launched websites, http:www.ghotw.com and http:www.shotw.com.

In addition to the MICE directory, GHO provides a free venue-finding service for group reservations and meetings and incentive bookings. Buyers can also send their RFPs via the online form which can be found at http://www.ghotw.com/facility/mice.htm.

Great Hotels Organisation will be exhibiting at WTM – Stand number GV7650. Please visit the stand to receive your complimentary directory.

Note to editors:

Great Hotels Organisation’s family of brands include Great Hotels of the World (http://www.ghotw.com) and Special Hotels of the World (http://www.shotw.com/). By acknowledging that each hotel has a different set of marketing requirements, Great Hotels Organisation allows its member hotels to choose from a comprehensive collection of sales and marketing initiatives in order to build their own ‘à la carte’ membership programme tailored to meet their individual objectives. By doing this, members are able to choose and purchase only the services they require, thus ensuring that membership fees are kept to a minimum and are focused on their specific requirements. Sales and marketing initiatives that members are able to take advantage of include: trade shows, e-marketing, business travel consortia sales, public relations, a private label GDS chain code and sales blitzes. Membership of Great Hotels Organisation is by invitation only and hotels must meet strict criteria before being accepted. Great Hotels Organisation manages the “GW” private label GDS chain code and toll-free voice reservation numbers operate globally.
