In the UK, many people will leave the warmth of their homes on November 5th to celebrate Guy Fawkes Night, where they will be treated to a breathtaking display of pyrotechnics. Lord Mayor’s Show - London

This event is technically not a Guy Fawkes Night celebration but it is well worth the trip to London. This renowned event promises to be one of the best displays of 2008. Expect to see stunning fireworks, and impressive festivities and parades.

When:  8th November 2008 - procession starts at 11.02am following a two-minute silence. Firework display starts at 5.00pm
