Explore the world of animation at Boomfest - St Petersburg, Russia, 24-26 September
The famous Boomfest will take place between September 24 and 25 in St Petersburg. For amateurs of comics, this festival is a must see.
The Anna Akhmatova Museum at The Fountain House will be the major venue for the festival, exhibiting works by international artists. The festival also shows a selection of international animated films during the two days.
This animation festival was created in 2007 by a group of comics amateurs. It is aimed at gathering comic books and animation from all over the world and create a special event for those passionate about comics and animation - 30 exhibitions and 60 lectures have been organised since its debut.
