Royal Garden Villas & Spa

Royal Garden Villas & Spa in Tenerife is the epitome of luxury. A total of 28 elegant and comfortable villas, overlooking a spectacular golf course, some excellent dining options, and a wealth of leisure facilities made this sublime resort an excellent choice for our honeymoon.

Our Gran Duchess Villa was amazing – a huge bedroom with a massive and comfortable king size bed, and a lovely living room with a large flat-screen TV, DVD player and drinks cabinet. But the pièce de résistance was our private pool and gazebo, where we could lounge in total privacy.

On our first evening we dined in the restaurant, and enjoyed some delicious local dishes prepared expertly by the award-winning chef. Breakfast in the morning was a delight – a huge buffet bursting with cheeses, cold meats, yogurts, eggs, cereals, pastries, fresh fruit and more. Divine!

Our days were spent either relaxing by our pool or exploring the island in our hire car. We enjoyed a few rounds of golf on the superb course that adjoins the resort, and indulged in a massage in the spa. The tranquil, calming atmosphere worked its magic on us – we felt happy and content just to relax and enjoy the beautiful views and excellent services at the resort.

  • Glass of cava on arrival
  • Unlimited free use of the spa facilities
  • Relaxing 25-minute massage per person
  • 10% discount on all further spa treatments
  • Romantic evening meal for two (drinks not included)
  • One couple’s Sensuality Bath in the spa
  • Breakfast buffet in the restaurant

Beautiful surroundings, luxurious accommodation, a multitude of facilities and a world-class spa – everything at Royal Garden Villas & Spa is geared to relaxation and romance. We enjoyed total privacy in our villa, with our private pool, gazebo and solarium, which meant that we could spend time just enjoying being together. The resort is designed with privacy in mind – even though we were told it was at full occupancy, we hardly saw anyone else.

The Golden Pond Spa is a stunning temple of wellbeing – it is impossible to avoid relaxation here! Pools, cascades, gentle lighting and considered design all combine to make this a supremely calming space. We went for the Couple Special – an aromatic bath followed by an aromatherapy massage each – and drifted off into a state of bliss. A wonderful experience.

As we were on our honeymoon, we’d booked the Honeymoon Special package – a five-night stay in paradise. We were picked up by limousine from the airport – the best way to travel in a new destination, avoiding the hassle of finding our way and struggling with our baggage after the flight. We were each handed a glass of chilled cava on arrival at the resort, and marvelled at the beauty that surrounded us. During our stay the staff couldn’t have been more helpful, booking our spa treatments and restaurant reservations, suggesting sightseeing itineraries and arranging all our transport to and from the resort. We were directed to the best beaches, eateries, shops and bars, and they arranged a special late check out so we could make the most of our holiday right up to the last minute.
