Londa has been welcoming discerning travellers for over 25 years. It arrived on the Cyprus hotel scene as the island’s first all-suite hotel, and achieved another first when it was redesigned in 2005 and became Cyprus’s first design boutique hotel. It has since garnered a reputation for stylish accommodation, exceptional dining and impeccable service.
Suites are generously sized, designed in a stylish palette of white marble, black wood and antique silver. Being a coffee lover I especially enjoyed the in-room espresso machine. Breakfast is a no-rush, enjoyable affair on the terrace overlooking the beach. Stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea can be enjoyed from every window of the hotel.
The Caprice Restaurant has a new Italian chef, Giovanni Caracciolo, whose innovative Italian menu has been received to critical acclaim. Enjoy your meal in the dining room or terrace, with stunning views of the Mediterranean. There are also two bars serving a wonderful selection of cocktails, wines and beers.
Limassol is well known for its culture, shops and sophisticated nightlife – ideal for couples looking for a unique experience in the Mediterranean.
The passionate nature of Cyprus is evident throughout this luxurious hotel. You can book a romantic candlelit dinner in the restaurant, in your own suite or in the grounds. The hotel also hosts weddings, with a dedicated staff that promises to handle your day with professionalism and creativity.
Londa is ideally located on a cosy, sandy beach in the heart of Limassol’s tourist area, within walking distance of shops and restaurants and only a few minutes’ drive from its markets and museums, so it makes a great base for exploring the island.
Shortly after we arrived we enjoyed a blissful couples’ massage together in the spa, and then spent the rest of the day lazing by the pool, enjoying the beautiful views of the Mediterranean and sipping cool drinks.
On our last day the hotel held its regular Sunday barbecue on the terrace – we indulged in a few cocktails and relaxed together by the Pool Bar to watch the sunset.
