Five stars, one glorious hotel; Gloria Verde Resort is a first-class gem backed by the stunning peaks of the Taurus Mountains. It’s part of Gloria Hotels & Resorts, three unique luxury properties connected by an attractive walkway.

We have young children, so were looking for a resort that would be able to handle our brood of 3 little ones. There are 70 family suites in total, comprising two bedrooms – the perfect size for us. Every day the children spent the afternoon at the Mini Club, which they adored. They took part in fun activities and made new friends from around the world, and we got some much-needed time alone together.

Heavenly therapies, natural beauty treatments, therapeutic effects, tranquil relaxation areas, enchanting aromas... As well as the healing effect of the massages at Asklepion Spa & Thalasso, we explored the thalasso therapies. The SPA Suites comprise a jacuzzi, Turkish bath, sauna, treatment and relaxation beds. There are four restaurants on-site – we sampled some delicious local specialities along with some old favourites.

We had the perfect accommodation for our luxurious holiday; there’s really nothing better than an indulgent day of pampering followed by a perfect night’s sleep. The sleek, spacious and stylish Asklepion Spa & Thalasso gave us some of the best experiences of our holiday. Combining expert knowledge of modern thalassotherapy with traditional treatments and beauty therapies, this fantastic spa has it all: a relaxing, serene atmosphere to put you at ease, as well as excellent therapists who are ready to help you indulge in the benefits of its natural resources.

The exclusive spa utilises products from top international brands, together with local seawater, algae, mud and minerals to create treatments that will give you that fresh holiday glow and a feeling of total wellbeing. Do try the VIP hammam and experience the Turkish bath tradition, then relax in the thalasso pool which promises to soothe skin and revitalise you with its natural properties. We decided to take advantage of the great spa massages on offer – with five massage rooms available, it was easy to get booked in for a stress-relieving treatment.

The Ayurveda Massage I had was really rejuvenating and relaxing, and the therapist used a different technique from the one I had experienced in the UK. Feeling a little bikini-conscious I also tried out the anti-cellulite treatments, which left my skin so radiant I made another visit to the spa on the last day of our holiday to top up after a week of tanning.
