Hotel Overview

Thalassa is described as the first boutique-style hotel located in Cyprus. Just 25 minutes from the international airport at Paphos, the hotel is built on a little peninsula offering spectacular and undisturbed views of the Mediterranean.
A wide range of leisure and sports facilities are available close by, including the island’s leading 18-hole golf courses. Thalassa also boasts its own superb leisure facilities, which range from a world-class spa and health club to an outdoor swimming pool. This family-run hotel promises the ultimate in personal service and is the only one on the island with a full butler service for each room.

Hotel Facilities

As well as the outdoor swimming pool, Thalassa has a fully equipped gym, sauna and steam bath plus a world-class spa and health centre. The spa centre has everything to pamper both body and soul after a tiring day on the golf course.
Besides the signature post-golf therapies and treatments, the hotel also offers a number of tailor-made golf packages, which include transport to the course of your choice and pre-booked playing times.

Room Options

This stylish hotel comprises 58 residences, all decorated to the highest specification with luxurious fittings and two bathrooms each - one for men and one for women. All rooms offer air-conditioning, satellite television, minibar and safe, as well as a balcony with unrivalled views of the sea.

Hotel Dining

The hotel’s two restaurants present a choice of exquisite seafood freshly caught that day, or innovative Cypriot cuisine served with an excellent choice of local and international wines. In addition, there are two bars and two lounges onsite.

Business Facilities

Three small conference rooms with capacity for 20 people each.

Local Attractions

Less developed and certainly less crowded than other Cypriot resorts, Paphos is an absolute gem. Dominating the town is the harbour with its ancient fortress, just one of the many historical sites to be found in Paphos. Other attractions worth visiting include the House of Dionysos with its beautiful mosaics, and the Tombs of the Kings, which date back to the 3rd Century BC. Further afield is the Akamas peninsula, the most westerly point of Cyprus and the last remaining undeveloped part of the island. Its lack of development has ensured that the peninsula remains an important haven for flora and fauna. Here you can walk along the rugged coastline for miles and miles.
Escape the summer heat by heading to the Troodos mountain, a hilltop station dotted with historic churches. It is also worth exploring in the winter, when skiing is possible.

Getting There

Paphos International Airport is 20 mins from the hotel, while Larnaca Airport is one hour and 30 mins.

The Golf

Established in 1994, the Tsada golf course is set in the grounds of a 12th Century monastery, and was created by Donald Steel. The 18-hole course is 550 metres above sea level, and other facilities include a driving range and putting green.
Within close proximity of the famous birthplace of Aphrodite, goddess of love, at Petra tou Romiou, the Secret Valley golf course is situated in a scenic valley with trees and unusual rock formations. Besides the standard club facilities, there is a golf shop selling accessories. Aphrodite Hills, designed by Cabell Robinson, is 20 kilometres from Paphos in a marvellous setting with lush olive and carob trees. Onsite there is a driving range, academy holes, PGA instructors and a pro shop.

The Spa

The Anagenisis (Greek for ‘rebirth’) spa takes a holistic approach to wellbeing. Each guest receives a full consultation so the therapist can determine the best course of treatment for each individual. The spa offers a range of therapies, including massage treatments, hydrotherapy, and a choice of ancient therapies inspired by local produce - including goats’ yogurt, olive oil and fresh herbs.
The Trahana Body Ritual is one of the hotel’s unique treatments using local products. Oats are added to a mixture of goat yogurt, olive oil and fresh herbs. This is applied to the body in circular movements to exfoliate the skin gently. Then the body is wrapped, allowing the mixture to nourish and cleanse the skin during a head massage. Finally the mixture is removed under a warm tropical rain shower and moisturiser is added. The spa also offers guests a range of fresh organic juices and herbal teas at the juice bar.

Signature Treatments

• Deep tissue body massage
• Aromatherapy body massage
• Hydrotherapy bath with colour therapy
• Coral blush aromatherapy facial
• Emerald glow salt body exfoliation
• Purifying body boost mask
• Lymphatic body massage
• Reflexology
