Leave any thoughts of minimalism outside the revolving door of the Dorchester Hotel and be ushered, by a liveried doorman, into a world of sumptuous style and elegance. The range of restaurants and bars is comprehensive: the Grill room offers specialities form all over the British Isles, the Oriental Restaurant serves exemplary Cantonese cuisine, the Dorchester bar specialises in Italian food and wine, the Promenade is the place to enjoy food at any time of day but particularly for traditional afternoon tea. There are also several glamorous private dining options.

The Dorchester is located on Park Lane overlooking the open spaces of Hyde Park not only a lovely open space for a stroll but also on a Sunday afternoon home to one of London’s more eccentric traditions; Speakers corner where you can be sure of lively debate from a variety of performers. The main cultural and shopping areas of London are within a walk or short taxi ride of the hotel.

The superb Spa, a retreat of complete calm, is open to hotel guests along with members and daily visitors. A wide range of body treatments is offered including relaxing massages, body wraps, aromatherapy, hydrotherapy, facials and skin care featuring Eve Lom, Thalgo and Jurlique products. The glorious Total Restoration Treatment lasting 1hour 30 minutes is one of the Dorchester Spa’s signature treatments consisting of a sea salt glow scrub, back, neck, shoulders and scalp massage and a mini facial using Jurlique’s organic products leaving the recipient relaxed and revitalised.
