La sultana lovely place to stay
I had a great time in Marrakech, we loved the hotel and staff were incredibly warm.
There was a bit of confusion at the end as they were not aware I had pre-paid for transfer from/to airport, and I also paid GHTW extra for a limousine transfer but actually received the standard Toyota 4x4 transfer (which was fine).
We can recommend:
Villa des les oranges: good for a quiet meal for two. Le Comptoir: lively evening for a more rowdy night with belly dancers.
We loved the hot air balloon trip but not cheap - 2,600Dms per person.
The horse drawn carriage ride round the narrow streets well worth a trip but pick your route to take in the souks. We didn't like the modern part of town - but different tastes.
Always agree any fare/price before doing anything - these can vary hugely.
La sultana lovely place to stay. Very peaceful and romantic! If you like walking, the Atlas Mountains is a good excursion and we enjoyed the mule ride - we're easy to please!!
The sellers round the town can intimidate some but you just need to say no and ignore people without feeling awkward and its fine.
I would add that room service is not their thing: takes ages and a bit hit and miss.
Apart from this minor blip, brilliant trip: which my wife loved.
