A travel in time
If you haven't ever lived 1920's, Bovey Castle will take you there. Sounds like a commercial ad but it is true.
I went to visit a friend and decided to stay at this new hotel to play some golf too, but what I had was much more. When I got there I couldn't stop getting amazed by this wonderful "village". Starting from the impressive entrance, by the minute you get in you are transported into a 1920's era, and it's not just decoration, you can actually feel it.
Golf was great! The golf course was not easy but it was very playable. Conditions where exceptionally good.
Through all the many activities you could do, I decided to go fishing but you can even experience falconry!!!! I didn’t have much luck though, I could only fish a trout but just the relaxing experience is worthwhile.
The service was impeccable.
I think I will visit my friend more often and will definitely stay at Bovey Castle again. There are still many things to discover.
