About the Hotel
Royal Palm ranks as one of the most exclusive hotels in the Indian Ocean area. The hotel is located on a prime site, Grand Bay, which can be found on the northwest coast of Mauritius. Royal Palm is located close to the fashionable village of Grand Bay, which is renowned for its designer boutiques, art galleries, smart coffee shops and trendy restaurants and bars. Shops in the village specialise in stylish beachwear, ceramics and art, cashmere garments and oriental carpets. Jewellery items in gold and diamond are also popular acquisitions. Grand Bay is the leaving point for many excursions by boat. Highly recommended is a day sailing on a giant catamaran to islands off the north coast, where snorkelling and diving can reveal many rare species. Special trips either by coach or private car can be arranged to the island’s popular attractions.
