The Club, Russia's first and only championship 18-hole golf course, was designed by Robert Trent Jones Jnr and hosts the Russian Open, an event on the European Challenge Tour. A resort for all seasons, the venue boasts a host of other sporting and leisure facilities, including watersports, basketball, swimming, dog-sled rides, cross-country skiing, ice skating. There is also a variety of indoor activities offered, such as tennis, squash, use of a golf driving range and a computerised golf simulator. The $10 million Spa and Sports Club boasts a spectacular glass enclosed pool, Turkish bath, Finnish sauna and Russian banya, as well as an Estee Lauder Beauty Center with beauty and massage therapists and manicurists. The hotel’s Nightingale disco, situated on the lower level, serves cocktails and light snacks and can seat 40 people.

Open-air Russian barbecue parties in summer; candlelit fireside gatherings in the stunning wooden clubhouse in winter, accompanied by gypsy music.

There are excellent facilities for team-building events both in the winter and summer. Parties and receptions can be organised for up to 800 people, and there are meeting facilities available for up to 300 guests.

Trips can be taken to neighbouring towns, with their ancient churches and historic buildings. Moscow's tourist attractions and cultural activities, including the Bolshoi Ballet, the Kremlin, Red Square and the famed underground railway - the most spectacularly ornate in the world - are unmissable.
