- Greek Orthodox Cathedral of St George-
The Cathedral is the oldest church in the city of Beirut. Being built in the mid sixth century AD, its history, paintings and glass stained windows are perfect for any historical trip.
Just outside of Beirut, sits the marvellous temple of Baalbek. It is a monumental reminder of Rome’s former hold over the city and is an ideal cultural attraction.
Situated on the Beqaa plain, Aanjar is the site of the only Umayyad city in Lebanon. It was built from 705 to 715AD and many well conserved ruins still remain there.
- Beirut Roman Baths-
In the centre of the town are the remains of the Roman baths which once served the city's population. Originally discovered in 1968, it underwent a thorough cleaning and further excavation in 1995-1997.

- Beirut National Museum -
This museum houses all of Beirut’s national treasures. Of particular note are the intricately carved marble sarcophagi from Tyre and the delicate bronze figurines from excavations in Byblos.

This music hall is the first of its kind in Lebanon and plays host to a number of short musical acts from around the world.
- Souk el-Tayeb-
The Beirut souks, complete with farmers’ market, are the perfect place for a lovely stroll and are prime gift-shopping territory for all your Levantine needs.
- Nejme Square-
Nejme Square is the central square in the downtown area. It is home to the Lebanese Parliament, two cathedrals, a museum, and several cafes and restaurants. The square has become a recognisable icon worldwide.
