The most popular treatments include the invigorating Jivaniya; the Shudhikara detox; the Sama balancing treatment; the Warrior Phelwan Malish massage; the Vishram for relaxation and the energizing Orja Dayaka massage. The Pavithri is the perfect lymphatic drainage massage, while the Narikela is a cleansing coconut scrub and Dinachariva and Abhyanga are both ayurvedic treatments.

Signature Treatments

Jivaniya - This is an energizing treatment to relieve muscular tension and improve circulation; this includes an exfoliating herbal scrub, a heat-stimulating wrap of spices and herbs, followed by a revitalizing massage.

Shudhikara - This unique detox combination purifies the system with a lymphatic drainage massage, a wholesome cleansing papaya scrub and a plantain wrap leaving you feeling light and fresh.

Room Options

Taj Exotica Bentota has a total of 162 rooms, including six suites.
The 77 standard rooms have partial views over either the ocean or the garden and can be occupied by three adults or two adults and two children under 12; each room has a private balcony or terrace. The rooms are equipped with tea or coffee makers, mini bars, safes, colour cable TV, direct dial telephones, channelled music and internet access.
The 38 Superior Sea View rooms have all the standard equipment plus stunning panoramic ocean views, while the 27 Orchid Rooms on the sixth floor have been designed to complement the breathtaking views with elegant Asian furniture and fabrics. These rooms have additional DVD players, and the beds are specially designed to pamper with high quality linen.
The 14 Deluxe rooms have a large room, plus a bedroom and a garden or sea view, and are ideal for a family holiday.
The four Executive Suites have a large bedroom suite with separate living room in the main building, with direct ocean view and partial garden views. The 1300 square feet Presidential Suite comprises all the advantages of the other rooms and along with the bathtub and shower cubicle has its own jacuzzi, including a very large balcony.

The hotel can cater for meetings in various halls. The Orchid Room can accommodate 275 – 350 people and the Board Room between 30 -35. There is a selection of Wedding Facilities which can be held in the Grand Ballroom, the Outdoor Lawn overlooking the Ocean and for added romance, on the beach.

Things to do in Bentota

Locally there are many exotic sites to be enjoyed, including a turtle farm, coral garden, mask factory and the Galle Fort and spice garden. The Kande Vihara Temple is another attraction not to be missed. Colombo is 60 kilometres from Bentota and is well known as a shopper’s paradise with handicraft showrooms, shopping malls and department stores.
