The Sahana Spa is a luxury all-suite garden spa offering a wide range of heavenly treatments inspired by Sri Lankan traditional healing. Blending perfectly with the landscape, Sahana Spa is dedicated to total well-being.
Signature treatments include the Saman Elixir, a romantic treatment for two. Aphrodisiac oils are used during massage and a body scrub using rice flour, turmeric, sandalwood and other ingredients is used to make skin glow.  Aromatic body wraps are applied and the treatment ends with a fragrant flower-filled jacuzzi bath.
The Rejuvenation Oriental Saman is a total body treatment with yoga breathing lessons, herbal sauna bath, body scrub, herbal body and face massage, body wrap and face pack.

All of the suites have been designed in the traditional Sri Lankan style with luxurious furnishings, and include an open-air bathroom, dressing room, sleeping deck, lounge area and veranda from where magnificent views of the sea and the coast can be enjoyed. 
The luxurious two-storey Saman Villa Suite houses a ground floor comprised of a spacious bathroom, which opens into a large courtyard and a 22-foot long private swimming pool, which affords complete privacy, as well as an exquisitely designed sitting room and veranda. The first floor portion consists of a large bedroom with living area, attached bathroom with shower and a large balcony opening out to the ocean.

Saman Villas offers excellent gourmet dining overlooking the sea and the pool area. The main restaurant is renowned for its fine cuisine and four-course set menus, while breakfast and lunch can be taken on the Terrace, which looks out over the gardens.

Things to do in Bentota

Sri Lanka is often described as the ‘pearl in the Indian Ocean’ and with an abundance of marine life, living corals and tropical gardens it’s easy to understand why.
Scuba diving and snorkelling is available at Bentota – a great way to explore Sri Lanka’s coastline. Make a visit to the Brief Garden in Kalawila. Laid out over five acres, this paradise boasts a range of unusual tropical trees and plants.
Don’t miss a tour of Kaneliya’s rainforest, with its lush waterfalls and rare birds and animals. Guests can also take a tour of the tea plantations at Udugama. Historical attractions include the Buddhist Temple at Kalutara and the Dutch Fort in the coastal town of Galle, which is home to a fortress, Dutch buildings and a maritime museum.
