About the hotel

Please note that L'Abbaye de Talloires will be closed between November 16, 2009 and February 12, 2010.

Set on the banks of one of the most picturesque lakes in the French Alps, Abbaye de Talloires has maintained a fairytale atmosphere throughout the centuries, with its 17th century stones reflected on the lake’s clear waters. More than just a hotel, Abbaye de Talloires is a charming haven of serenity and refinement.

Spend time on the private pontoon by the lakeside while sipping delicious cocktails and listening to the sounds of the piano, or take a ride in the hotel’s motorboat and admire the surroundings of the lake from the waterside.

Sample original, inventive gourmet cuisine, accompanied by exceptional wines from the abbey’s historical cellar. Served in the perfect settings of dining rooms or sun-dappled terraces, the culinary and regional specialities promise to enchant the senses.
