238 rooms and 24 suites. Each of the 238 guest rooms is elegantly designed, with all modern amenities, including broadband internet access, ample work desk and satellite TV. There are many attractions in this part of China. For example, Red Hill, located on the east bank of the Urumqi River, represents the legendary dragon who flooded the city in the 18th Century. Two pagodas have been built  to keep the vengeful monster at bay. For a memorable day out, guests should head to Tianchi Lake in the Tianshan Mountains. Surrounded by snow-capped peaks and wild flowers, this is a magical setting for a truly memorable day out. The West White Poplar Valley is also recommended for its breathtaking scenery, lush greenery and diverse wildlife. Neighbouring Kazakhs spend the summer here grazing their flocks, and are known to invite tourists into their yurts for a bowl of fragrant milk tea and spiced lamb.
