Apart from all the sophisticated in room amenities the Westin Tabor Center has a fully equipped gym, the trademark WestinWORKOUT room, and a swimming pool on the fourth floor, that is indoor and outdoor sporting fabulous views of the Rocky Mountains. Room Options

There are 430 guest rooms and suites at the Westin Tabor Center. The rooms are spacious and fully equipped for the business traveller; high speed Internet access, data port connection and voicemail are all available and many rooms have spectacular views of the Rocky Mountains. Rooms with disabled access and non-smoking options are available. The trademark Heavenly Bed and Heavenly Bath features of the rooms combined with the refurbished décor using colour schemes drawn from nature make this a luxurious retreat from the energetic city.

Dining at The Westin Tabor Center

The Westin Tabor Center has two main restaurants, a cocktail bar and a Starbucks kiosk. Augusta is open for fabulous breakfasts, Monday to Friday 6am to 10 am, and Saturdays and Sundays 7am to 11am. The Palm, winner of a prestigious AAA Four Diamond Award, is open Monday to Friday 11am to 10pm, Saturday 5pm to 10pm and Sundays 5pm to 9pm. The Palm is a classic American steakhouse, where specials include succulent prime beef and Nova Scotia lobsters. V’s martini bar is open from 4pm every day, serving popular cocktails through to 12am (11pm on Sundays). There is also 24-hour room service.

There are 23 meeting venues in the hotel catering for a range of events. Up to 1000 guests can be arranged for in the impressive Continental ballroom. High speed Internet access is available in all the meeting facilities (at a supplementary charge). The Westin One Call service offers a full planning service for meetings and events with an expert to arrange every detail. Westin hotels also offer a technical concierge service around the clock. Westin’s Guest Office service offers business travellers the option of staying in rooms that double as offices for $20 above the standard room rate. The extras include a comfortable work area with ergonomically designed chair, multi function laser printer/fax/copier, speakerphone with data port, voice messaging and free unlimited local calls. When required a late checkout is included.

Things to do in Denver

Denver is a cultural as well as a business hub with the added benefit of spectacular surroundings. The Westin Tabor Center is ideally placed to take advantage of all these attributes with many of the entertainment venues and commercial centres within walking distance of the hotel. Tickets for productions at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts are generally available through the hotel as they have their own allocation. Further a field there are plenty of opportunities to explore the scenery; hiking, cycling and skiing or investigating the old Rocky Mountain mining towns and Buffalo Bill’s final resting place on Lookout Mountain. The excellent concierge service is ideal for sorting out itineraries.

Getting to The Westin Tabor Center

Denver International Airport (DEN) is about 15 miles northeast of downtown. Snow may affect journey times in the winter. A taxi from the airport costs around $45 to $55, or there is a Super Shuttle bus service to and from the airport.
