Rooms at the Vale D'Oliveiras have been designed in four different colour schemes (orange, red, blue or camel). The decor in all rooms takes its cue from Mediterranean influences to compliment the surroundings of the resort.

If you are lucky enough, you will be able to really get the “countryside feeling” (yet being so close to the bustling life of the beach towns) when you spot a local shepherd passing with his herd in the hills surrounding the Resort.

Guests are spoilt for choice when it comes to local attractions that can be easily reached from Vale D'Oliveiras resort. Some of Europe's most beautiful beaches are nearby, offering a variety of watersports during summer time.

Or opt for one of the many boat trips along the Algarve coast, visit magical sea caves, spot dolphins or do big game fishing. Of course the Algarve is one of the world's great golfing destinations. The Gramacho and Vale da Pinta golf courses are literally next door to Vale d'Oliveiras Quinta Resort & Spa, and many other courses within easy reach.

Several riding schools are close to the resort, as well other outdoor sporting and leisure activities, such as canoeing, hiking or mountain biking. For children, the Algarve has several theme parks, including the ever popular waterslide parks (Slide & Splash is only a few minutes drive away) and Zoomarine, a large oceanographic theme park with a renowned dolphin show (just 15 minutes drive away). The Algarve Formula One race track is also not far from the Resort, offering a family outing to remember at the separate Kartodromo where fun is guaranteed driving karts.

Other attractions include the medieval castle of Silves (former capital of the Algarve), the termal springs in the Monchique mountains, and a little bit further away, at the most south-western pointin Europe, Cabo Sao Vicente with its impressive rock formations. Or what about visiting some of the wineries of the Algarve, where one can taste the beautiful wines of this region and learn about how they are being produced.
