Uhu Villa Suites will reopen to the public on September 1, 2009
The most charming hideaway in the Hungarian capital overlooks Budapest and the Szalonka Valley from its perch on the Buda hills. Tucked away in parkland on the edge of pristine forests, Uhu Villa Suites provides a peaceful yet convenient location close to the city centre.
This turn-of-the-century villa welcomes guests with its harmonious colours, beamed ceilings, warm woods and old prints, resulting in a congenial setting.
There are 12 uniquely furnished rooms and suites, which are elegant and refined. Each one features a balcony, with views of the valley below, satellite television, modem connection, air-conditioning and minibar.
From this base, visitors can become acquainted with the cultural highlights of Budapest. There is a lively theatre scene, musical events, several museums, galleries, restaurants and nightclubs, all waiting to be discovered.
