About the hotel

Located in Amersham, only an hour away from Central London, The Crown Inn is a modern day coaching inn with a homely and cosy feel. Only a 30 minute drive from Heathrow, the hotel makes even the most stressed of guests feel at home thanks to the roaring inglenook fires and cosy bedrooms. The Crown Inn was created by Ilse Crawford, who also designed Soho House New York and Grand Hotel Stockholm, and offers spectacular views over stunning gardens. The re-invention of the traditional English Inn, the hotel’s heartbeat runs from the superb bedrooms right through to the food lovingly created by the team of talented chefs.

The three buildings that make up the inn work together to create a little village for guests to feel at home and carefree, away from the stress of the city. The overall feel of the hotel is one of unique and calm space, where design doesn’t come from a warehouse but from the love of the designers and the natural products around them.
