There are 100 guest rooms and suites at the Avalon. All our equipped with up to date telecommunications including high speed Internet connection, private telephone number with voicemail direct to each room. Special desks are provided with convenient outlets for computer etc and comfortable ergonomically designed chair. Coffee/tea making facilities and an honor bar, along with iron and board, umbrellas and bathrobes are all standard. The bathrooms feature marble fittings, some with separate showers; the executive suites have Jacuzzi tubs.
The Avalon Bar and Grill serves three meals daily, this includes a complimentary continental breakfast. The lunch and dinner menus feature contemporary American cuisine. The décor is traditional using dark wood finishes and landscape paintings on the walls, the dining room and bar seat 55. Complimentary afternoon tea is served in the Library. Guests of the hotel are given a drink voucher to use at the bar where live jazz is played on Friday and Saturday evenings.
