The Taj Exotica Goa is set in tranquil and serene surroundings - 56 acres of land fronted by an idyllic white sand beach in South Goa. Amidst lush green lawns and sacred gardens the Taj Exotica is the only hotel in the region to have direct access to the ocean. The hotel comprises 140 rooms including villas and suites, all with wireless internet connectivity throughout and with private plunge pools for some of the villas. The Deluxe Sea View rooms in the main building are luxuriously appointed with air conditioning, safes, large roomy bathrooms, and private veranda or balcony. All rooms are equipped with data port facilities, colour TV, direct-dial telephones, tea and coffee makers, hairdryer and well stocked mini bars. The Luxury Rooms have a private jacuzzi in the bathroom, sea view and are located in the main block. Luxury suites are one-bedroomed and luxuriously appointed with jacuzzi, DVDs and can have a butler on request. The Villa Garden View rooms look out over the beautiful lush gardens and have their own verandas or balconies, while the Sea View Villas face out onto the ocean. The Sunset Pool Villa is in the front row of the villa area and has high quality furnishings, private plunge pool and stunning sea views. A multitude of cuisines is offered to tempt the most discerning palate, from healthy and tasty Mediterranean fare at the Miguel Arcanjo Restaurant to Chinese food at the Li Bi. The Alegria restaurant specialises in local Goan cuisine and should not be missed, while the Lobster Shack seafood restaurant on the beach is a real experience. Attractions in and around Taj Exotica Goa include the spice plantations that brought the Portuguese, French and the English to these shores. The Madgao market is famous for its local Goan sweets and cashew nuts. Sightseeing options include the nearby 16th century church and cathedral, and there are famous local Goan food restaurants close by.
