About the hotel

This luxurious hotel was opened in 1986 by the Crown Prince of Thailand and went through a complete refurbishment in 2009 to offer 85 exclusive suites filled with a wealth of pampering facilities. Renowned as one of the finest hotels in Thailand with multiple awards to show for including TTG Hall of fame, World Travel Awards for leading spa resort in Thailand and Tripadvisor certificate of excellence. So far it is the only hotel in Thailand without a single negative review.

It’s the attention to detail that sets this hotel apart. For example, on arrival you are served a refreshing welcome drink at the beautiful lobby or in your living room; at your suite a private butler awaits you to unpack your suitcase. The hotel can arrange for the suite to be named after you by placing a brass name plaque in front of the suite. Every day your reserved sun lounger awaits – once you have enjoyed your delicious breakfast in bed or on your suite balcony, of course.

This all suite resort has two room categories, the Royal Wing Suite and the Presidential Suite. The Royal Wing Suite is furnished in a timeless Thai-inspired décor with its opulent bedroom that extends beautifully to the lounge area and through to the luxurious marbled bathroom, which is furnished with a circular Jacuzzi and a separate walk-in rain shower. Two idyllic balconies come with a pair of sunloungers, tables and chairs. A unique feature is the turn-about LCD TV which can be viewed from both the bedroom and the lounge area.

The splendor of the Presidential Suite is apparent in the extremely elegant furnishings and the classic Thai-inspired personal touches. This generous suite comes with 3 bedrooms, each with its own private living area, bathroom and balcony adorned with tropical plants, sunloungers, tables and chairs for a relaxing retreat. The lounge and dining areas are fronted by large windows offering stunning views across the ocean and the bay. A kitchenette and bar area is also available adjacent to the dining area. The presidential suite has its own private butler and a presidential beach sala on the beachfront for guests to relax or dine.
