For formal dining Mary Elaine’s offers a gorgeous setting with views over the valley and a menu featuring modern French cuisine. Sunday brunch is served in the Terrace Dining Room along with a gourmet Mediterranean-style menu. Local southwestern food can be enjoyed at the Windows on the Green restaurant. Poolside bars and an ice-cream parlour offer snacks and meals all day. The Lobby Tea Court serves afternoon tea with delicious pastries and a full selection of teas. Room service is available 24 hours.

The business centre is open daily from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm and is fully equipped with computers, photocopying and fax services. There are full conference facilities available.

Plenty of exciting and adventurous tours are on offer in the surrounding rugged country-side and these include horse-riding, mountain-biking, exploring old gold mines and 4-wheel drive or Hummer tours. For a more comfortable tour take the cowboy train and travel through what was Apache territory, where eagles, deer, blue heron and other wildlife can be seen. The Grand Canyon and mystical town of Sedona with its dramatic red rocks make a great day trip. The local town is Scottsdale where the Heard Museum displays collections of native art and artefacts. There are also plenty of shopping opportunities here in the galleries and antique shops.
