Old Swan rooms

Located in the oldest part of the hotel, the 16 Old Swan rooms and suites boast wooden beams and antique furniture in keeping with the building’s 600-year history. Uneven floorboards, four-poster beds and sloping ceilings add to the old-world charm, and are contrasted by the latest technology, including wireless internet access and flat-screen TVs. Suites have a separate living area.

Minster Mill rooms

The 44 Minster Mill rooms and suites have a more contemporary design than those in the Old Swan building. A relaxing palette of deep reds, terracotta and muted brown gives a modern and sophisticated ambiance. Choose from suites, interconnecting rooms, family rooms and dog-friendly rooms. Some have patios (with fire pits and reclining chairs) extending almost to the river bank; most have breathtaking views of the Windrush and surrounding meadows.

Dining

• The restaurant serves a gastropub menu using local fresh produce, and with a constantly changing specials menu inspired by the kitchen’s gardens. Delicious ‘adult nursery dishes’, a hearty selection of real ales and an extensive wine menu are served in the cosy dining room, or the pretty terrace and gardens during the summer.

• Picnics can be enjoyed in the extensive grounds of the hotel – just ask at reception. Find a secluded spot by the river and lay out your rug, or settle into one of the many deckchairs dotted around the property, and enjoy the best of British summer.
