About the hotel

Located in the heart of Florence, the Hotel Monna Lisa is an elegant former Renaissance Palace. Wander across a shady courtyard and step into this 17th Century haven. The hotel is furnished with fine antique furniture, oil paintings and art treasures including neo-classical drawings and statues by Giovanni Dupré. Part of the building dates from the 13th century and is believed to have originally been a convent or place of prayer. St Filipo Neri was born there and his portrait hangs behind the hotel bar, a reminder of the site’s rich history.

The Monna Lisa Hotel is just a short walk from the famous historic building, the Duomo. The hotel itself is an attractive yet unusual establishment and is perfect for guests who wish to have a luxury city break to Italy.
