La Pineta is a four star hotel set on two floors and hidden amongst Forte Village's thick, fragrant pine trees and exotic vegetation. Part of La Pineta was renovated in 2000, and it now offers double and triple rooms.
La Pineta hotel is part of Forte Village, a luxury resort in Sardinia composed of 7 four and five star hotels arranged to mimic a real Italian village.
All the properties converge at a central piazza from which guests can access all the facilities of the resort. Forte Village is set by the sea among 55 acres of Mediterranean vegetation, including tropical gardens.

Things to do in Santa Margherita Di Pula

Cagliari, the capital, is only an hour away and an ideal destination with its museums, historical buildings, shops and markets.
Sardinia is most famous for its beaches and beautiful sea - snorkelling, diving and other water sports are all available during most of the year thanks to a temperate weather that means even winters are cool and agreeable.
Charter boats to visit the grottos and coves lining the island is another great way to spend the day. Mountain activities are also available inland as is the 'Trenino Verde' or green train which takes in spectacular views of the island and surrounding regions.
