Things to do | |
Lucerne’s many attractions include the Chapel Bridge. Built during the 14th Century, the bridge was named after nearby St Peter’s Chapel, and is covered in paintings depicting scenes of local history. The bridge also tells the story of Lucerne’s patron saints, St Leodegar and St Maurice. Another must-see is the Jesuit Church. Constructed in the 17th Century, the church houses the original clothes of Brother Klaus, a famous Swiss patron. The Musegg Wall is part of the city walls dating from 1386, with three towers along its section. These are open to the public and house interesting artifacts, including the city clock which dates from 1535. The Weinmarkt, Hirschenplatz and Kornmarkt squares all boast fine examples of medieval architecture. | Be the first to leave a review Review this hotel |
