Guests can choose from 124 airy rooms, meaning there are plenty of different styles to choose from. The flair of the hotel enhances the feeling of being in the Austrian mountains. Warm tones make our house cosy. All rooms are furnished with the latest luxury amenities and facilities, including a king sized bed and separate sitting area, to really make you feel at home. The junior suite is ideal for families with small children who would like to sleep in the same area as them.
The Kufperdachl restaurant offers panoramic views of the stunning skiing world. The food is rustic and hearty, perfect at the end of an active day. The à la carte menu ensures there is something for everyone and the large brunch on Sunday is exactly what you will require after a long lie in!
There are also several bars and pubs to be enjoyed après ski at the resort. Gletscherstubn is perhaps the highlight, with its atmospheric decor, you will feel like you are nestled in the heart of the Alps, of course with the obligatory German beer. Bergkristall is another favourite, where weary skiers and snowboarders gather and discuss the day’s events.
The Hamburg-Witteburg alpinecentre is probably the highlight of the area. The centre is the largest indoor snow park in Europe, ideal for both beginners, with lessons for novices and a practice slope, and more experienced skiers and snowboarders. The freestyle area where snowboarders can enjoy themselves and improve their skills is sure to excite many visitors. Braver boarders will find a professional half pipe and many more areas to test their tricks. The area also plays host to an 800m long water skiing and wakeboarding area, with a large beach, playground and barbeque area for visitors. During the summer the hotel arranges events, beach and children’s parties.
The resort offers many other sporting facilities, including adventurous go-carting, skateboarding park, beach volleyball and football and hot-air balloon flights. With all this, plus a 4,800sqm children’s adventure playground, there isn’t a dull moment at this resort.
