Room Options

Gallery Hotel Art features 74 rooms divide into 5 types: Classic, Superior, De Luxe, Junior Suite and Suite. Each offer varying degrees of comfort and luxury.

• Classic rooms are as their name implies the hotel's typical offering, giving guests great comfort and a relaxed atmosphere and harmony.
• Superior rooms are spacious, well lighted and ideal for family accomodations with communicating rooms annexed to some of them.
• De Luxe rooms are comfortable and spacious with additional furniture and the possibility to accomodate a third person.
• Junior Suites all differ from each other and all have their own particular character. Features include terraces and spacious bathrooms and elegantly furnished interior spread over 2 floors.
• Suites are all located on the top floor of the hotel and offer great lighting alongside spacious living rooms and well furnished day and night time areas. Each suite can accomodate a third person, and some feature a terrace.  

Dining at Gallery Hotel Art - Lungarno Hotels Group

The Fusion Bar Shozan-Gallery is the place to see and be seen in Florence. Enjoy modern fusion cuisine, cocktails and beverages, surrounded by artworks. Thanks to its original vision, Fusion Bar Shozan-Gallery was recently awarded the “3 chicchi e 3 tazzine” from the Gambero Rosso 2003 guide to the best bars in Italy.
The Library meanwhile is where art books and international magazines are available for guests to enjoy along with cocktails, beverages and dishes from the adjacent Fusion Bar.

Business Facilities

In room facilities include a working desk, fax machine on request at extra cost and modem point (WI FI is also available).
Executive room facilities also include a private lounge, express check out, dual line telephone, complimentary breakfast and butler service at an extra cost.
Fax machine, email facilities, secretarial services and photocopying machine all available in room at an extra cost. A computer is also available at the front desk for customer use.

'Lungarno Hotels' have a selection of meeting rooms located amongst the four properties, as well as additional meeting venues not located in the hotels, such as the Palazzo Capponi and  the Villa Le Rose, which is located outside of Florence and ideal also for outdoor uses.

Things to do in Florence

Within walking distance of all the major attractions of the city, including Michelangelo’s David, the Vasarian Corridor, the Uffizi Gallery and the Piazza della Signoria, Gallery Hotel Art makes sightseeing in Florence a joy.
All four 'Lungarno Hotels' are located near to the Ponte Vecchio, Florence’s famous medieval bridge, and boast spectacular river views. The exclusive designer shops of Via Tornabuoni and Via della Vigna are also just moments away. Head to Piazzale Michelangelo for magnificent views of the city. Every year Florence is host to many events such as the 'Maggio Musicale' music festival. Italy is renowned for its rich culinary traditions and Florence offers a wealth of restaurants, bars, food shops and typical Tuscan trattorias where you can enjoy good food and drinks to your heart's content. 
As the capital of Tuscany, Florence is a great base from which to explore the nearby countryside and quaint villages can be reached in as little as 20 minutes’ drive. Explore Fiesole, with its historical buildings, or head to the coast, about one hour away by car. Wine tours in the Chianti region are recommended, and cooking courses can be organised in traditional Tuscan villas.

Florence's Amerigo Vespucci Intl Airport is 15 to 20 minutes away by taxi or bus, while Pisa's Galileo Galilei's Airport is a 50 to 60 minutes train, bus or taxi ride away. The nearest train station is Santa Maria Novella, 5 minutes away by taxi.
