Dining

Blending sophistication, freshness and classic simplicity, the Beau Nash offers a tantalising array of international flavours.  Reminiscent of a classic European brasserie, the ambience is centred around the open kitchen where the chefs masterfully deliver New American Cuisine. The large wood-panelled bar serves food and fine spirits under a frescoed ceiling of tropical orchids and the restaurant's conservatory is an enclosed veranda overlooking a lush courtyard and fountains.  The Beau Nash features live music Thursday to Saturday and serves brunch on Sundays. The Crescent Gourmet, located at the hotel entrance, is the place for delectable, quick and easy alternatives for breakfast and lunch, featuring the most tantalising specialities in town. Offering impeccable hospitality, service and cuisine, guests are able to enjoy dinner at The Crescent Club, the first of Rosewood's exclusive private clubs, located on the 17th floor of The Crescent Complex's centre office tower.  The Club boasts breathtaking views and outstanding cuisine. Located in the Spa at The Crescent, the Juice Bar specialises in nutritionally balanced menus high in flavour and low in fat, so you can indulge without the guilt.
Alternatively, retreat to merry old England by visiting the Lady Primrose's Thatched Cottage Pantry.  A charming, traditional tearoom located in the Shops and Galleries of The Crescent.  Lunch and afternoon tea including the customary warm scones with clotted cream and jam are served in a setting of fine English antiques.

Things to do

Denim and diamonds define the Dallas decor, skyline and attitude.  Rugged western virility coupled with cosmopolitan offerings create the city's truly Texan aura. Downtown is one of the most remarkable feats of sky-scraping architecture anywhere and a multitude of restaurants and shops thrive in the West End, a former warehouse district with several major cultural institutions.  A little further afield the Deep Ellum is the lively centre of the city's alternative arts and music scene. The Nasher Sculpture Centre, one-and-a-half miles from the hotel, is a gift to Dallas from philanthropist Raymond Nasher.  Visitors can view sculptures by Rodin, Picasso, Calder, Gauguin and others. The light-filled centre and spacious adjoining garden house 300 sculptures and include education and research facilities. The hotel lies in the heart of the Uptown Arts District, near the best the city has to offer, including the Dallas Museum of Art, Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Hall, the Majestic Theatre and American Airlines Sports Arena, home to the Dallas Stars and Dallas Mavericks.
