Room Options

Continentale features 43 rooms split into 5 types: Classic, Singles, Superior, De Luxe and De Luxe Tower. Each offering varying degrees of comfort and luxury.

• Single rooms overlook Por Santa Maria, and feature comfortable French beds and spacious bathrooms.
• Classic rooms come with double or twin beds, and some come with a small balcony and partial view of the river.
• Superior rooms are spacious with gorgeous views of the river Arno and Vasari Corridor. They come with double or twin beds.
• De Luxe rooms make full advantage of the beautiful Florentine vistas with three windows looking over the city. Upon request De Luxe rooms with small balconies are available and all come with double or twin beds.
• De Luxe Tower rooms are located in the Torre de'Consorti and offer spacious and comfortable living spaces with two beds, and the possibility for a third one to be added. The deep tower's windows open onto the Old Bridge and river Arno.

Dining at Continentale - Lungarno Hotels Group

Continentale features two bars where you can enjoy drinks. 

Located on the mezzanine and opened to the public, the Lounge Bar and reading room with its stunning views of the Ponte Vecchio provide the perfect place to relax. Enjoy exclusive movie screenings in the Home Theatre Lounge.

The Sky Lounge meanwhile is the ideal place to enjoy Florentine nightlife. A cocktail in one hand, watching the sun set over the River Arno – be sure to make this one of your favourite Florentine memories.

Business Facilities

In room facilities include a working desk, fax machine on request at extra cost and modem point (WI FI is also available).
Executive room facilities also include a private lounge, express check out, dual line telephone, complimentary breakfast and butler service at an extra cost.
Fax machine, email facilities, secretarial services and photocopying machine all available in room at an extra cost. A computer is also available at the front desk for customer use.

'Lungarno Hotels' have a selection of meeting rooms located amongst the four properties, as well as additional meeting venues not located in the hotels, such as the Palazzo Capponi and  the Villa Le Rose, which is located outside of Florence and ideal also for outdoor uses.

Things to do in Florence

Continentale is located near to the Ponte Vecchio, Florence’s famous medieval bridge, and boasts spectacular river views. The exclusive designer shops of Via Tornabuoni and Via della Vigna are just moments away. Head to Piazzale Michelangelo for magnificent views of the city. Every year Florence is host to many events such as the 'Maggio Musicale' music festival. Italy is renowned for its rich culinary traditions and Florence offers a wealth of restaurants, bars, food shops and typical Tuscan trattorias where you can enjoy good food and drinks to your heart's content.
Within walking distance of all the major attractions of the city, including Michelangelo’s David, the Vasarian Corridor, the Uffizi Gallery and the Piazza della Signoria, Continentale makes sightseeing in Florence a joy.
Florence is the capital of Tuscany, and quaint villages can be reached in as little as 20 minutes’ drive. Explore Fiesole, with its historical buildings, or head to the coast, about one hour away by car. Wine tours in the Chianti region are recommended, and cooking courses can be organised in traditional Tuscan villas.

Florence's Amerigo Vespucci Intl Airport is 15 to 20 minutes away by taxi or bus, while Pisa's Galileo Galilei's Airport is a 50 to 60 minutes train, bus or taxi ride away. The nearest train station is Santa Maria Novella, 5 minutes away by taxi.
