Things to do in Bath

With its world-famous Roman Baths, Royal Crescent and classical Georgian architecture, Bath has understandably been designated a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. The Thermae Bath Spa, due to open this year, will be the UK’s only natural thermal spa, providing another reason to visit the city.
An age-old romantic tradition in Bath is to take a punt along the Avon canal, accompanied by a champagne picnic. The Bath boating station is just 15 minutes from the hotel.
Take a champagne balloon flight over the city’s magnificent Georgian buildings at sunrise from Victoria Park. An evening at the elegant Theatre Royal followed by a late dinner in one of Bath’s renowned restaurants makes  for an unforgettable time. The quality of the performances are superb. Castle Coombe, Bradford on Avon and Laycock are quaint and historical villages in which to take a stroll before enjoying a traditional lunch in one of the character-filled pubs.
