All 76 rooms are individually decorated, using rich combinations of fabrics and colours. Many have stunning views of the lake and the fells beyond, for the ultimate in country house elegance. THINGS TO DO

It is hard to find a more spectacular location than this. From the lawns, private jetties allow guests to step aboard a lake cruiser and enjoy a gentle journey through the Lake District’s breathtaking scenery.
The English Lake District is one of the most beautiful corners of England, surrounded by breathtaking scenery, but it also offers a host of wonderful visitor attractions. Simply relax and enjoy the views, or choose from a wide variety of outdoor activities, such as walking, mountain biking, sailing, fishing, horse-riding, hot-air ballooning, golf and much more, within easy reach of the hotel.
