Rooms at the Vale D'Oliveiras have been designed in four different colour schemes (orange, red, blue or camel). The decor in all rooms takes its cue from Mediterranean influences to compliment the surroundings of the resort.

Things to Do & Local Attractions

• Guests are spoilt for choice when it comes to local attractions that can easily be reached from Vale D'Oliveiras Resort. Some of Europe's most beautiful beaches are nearby, offering a variety of water sports during summer time.
• Enjoy one of the many boat trips along the Algarve coast, visit magical sea caves, spot dolphins or try some game fishing. 
• Of course the Algarve is one of the world's great golfing destinations. The Gramacho and Vale da Pinta golf courses are literally next door to Vale d'Oliveiras Quinta Resort & Spa, and many other courses within easy reach.
• Several riding schools are close to the resort, as well other outdoor sporting and leisure activities, such as canoeing, hiking or mountain biking.
• For children, the Algarve has several theme parks, including the ever popular waterslide parks (Slide & Splash is only a few minutes drive away) and Zoomarine, a large oceanographic theme park with a renowned dolphin show (just 15 minutes drive away). 
• The Algarve Formula One race track is also not far from the Resort, offering a family outing to remember at the separate Kartodromo where driving karts and having fun is guaranteed.
• Other attractions include the medieval castle of Silves (former capital of the Algarve), the termal springs in the Monchique mountains, and a little bit further away, the Cabo Sao Vicente with its impressive rock formations. 
• Also popular are the wineries of the Algarve, where you can taste the beautiful wines of this region and learn about how they are being produced.

Family holidays at Vale D'Oliveiras

Vale d’Oliveiras Quinta Resort & Spa is a perfect holiday experience for families. Pools, tennis courts and kids indoor play room and outdoor playground are perfect for true family fun within the Resort.

Future projects include a “Quinta” (biological farm). Several activities will be organised around the “Quinta theme” for young and old. Guests will be invited to take part in the daily care of this (vegetable) garden area and will be able to pick several ingredients from the garden to use for the preparation of their own meal during a cooking class. Other activities will include typical Portuguese tile (azulejo) painting and educational agricultural activities for children.

Apart from the beautiful nearby beaches, the Algarve also offers several quality theme parks and zoos, jeep safaris, leisure and sports activities (such as horse riding, canoeing, water sports) and not to forget various boat tours (seasonal, mostly from May to October), including amazing cave trips, or the dolphin “seafaris” to spot dolphins in their natural habitat.

Other interesting family events include the Medieval Fairs organised on different occasions throughout the year by different municipalities (normally in August in Silves and Castro Marim and in January in Paderne). These Fairs offer the possibility to experience “life” in a village in medieval times.

Slide & Splash is one of the popular water slide parks in the Algarve, offering an exciting adventure for the whole family. Different types of slides invite you for a day filled with pleasure and fun. A separate area is available for the youngest members of the family. Open from June to October.

• Kartódromo Internacional do Algarve - 25 minutes from the hotel

For those who like “speed”, the “Kartódromo” (track and kart rental) offers several programs targeted to different levels of ability whether adults or children. A special track was designed for children up to 6 years of age, with permanent assistance and qualified instructors for total safety and fun. Open all year round.

• Lagos Zoo - 30 minutes from the hotel

Take a journey around the 5 continents of the world with abundant vegetation and a variety of colours, shapes and sounds. One will not find giraffes or elephants in this Zoo, however, there are more than 120 animal species and 200 botanical species and it is a pleasant day out for the whole family. Open all year round.
