The Golf

Las Américas golf course benefits from its natural location, a gently sloping amphitheatre protected from the wind by the range of surrounding hills. Climatic conditions are ideal in both winter and summer.
The course boasts a varied itinerary with a standard and scratch par of 72. Among other features, it has a series of lakes and ravines. Situated beside the Club House is a practice course, tees 1 and 10 and greens 9 and 18.
At the Club House, players will find  a bar/café, buggy and caddie cart hire as well as a golf school. Golfers staying at the hotel will receive discounts on green fees and guaranteed tee-offs. There is also a cleaning service for golf shoes and clubs at the hotel.

Things to do in Playa de las Americas

Tenerife is the largest of the Canary Islands and is dominated by Spain’s highest peak, the Teide volcano, which towers above the island dividing north from south and conferring different conditions upon each side. The clean coastal waters mean that it’s possible to see whales and dolphins up close in their protected habitat. For other natural wonders, head to Loro Parque, the Aqua Marine Dive Centre and Parque Las Aguilas. Other attractions include the Puerto Colon Yacht Club, a variety of local restaurants and Casino Playa Américas.
