The Faro City Tour is a great way for groups to explore the capital of the Algarve. The tour begins with a walk through the old town inside the medieval walls, before visiting a 13th Century church and the Archeological Museum. Aftewards spend an hour shopping for leather goods and pottery in Faro’s shopping district. The hotel offers a host of other excursions, including half-day tours to Lagos and Sagres and to Monchique and Silves.

Getting to Vila Vita Parc Resort & Spa

Faro International Airport is 40 minutes from the hotel by car. Take airport exit road into Faro motorway exit. Take direction West to Portimão (exit on the right side). Take the motorway, Via do Infante, until the Alcantarilha exit, near Armação de Pêra. At the round-about, take the second turn on the right, direction Portimão/ Lagos into the two-way Algarve main road EN125. Pass a water slide park called “The big One” on your right and, at Porches village (about 4,5 km away from Alcantarilha), turn left at the crossroad (no traffic lights). You are now 5 km away from Vila Vita Parc. Follow yellow signs, always on the same road, until the sign to turn right to Vila Vita Parc.
